Yellow Bush Bakery is a home-based bakery founded by Alexis Wilson, an up-and-coming culinary professional, and her husband, Anthony Wilson Jr. What began as a small gesture of affection quickly grew into something much more meaningful. Anthony had always enjoyed store-bought macadamia nut cookies, but after examining the ingredients, Alexis grew concerned by the ultra-processed ingredients used in packaged baked goods. Wanting to create something better for her husband, she decided to make his favorite cookie completely from scratch. 

The result was more than she expected! Cookies made with real, simple ingredients that not only tasted fresher, but far better than the store-bought version. Heartened by Anthony’s reaction, Alexis began sharing samples with his coworkers and her family. The responses were encouraging and eventually inspired the vision for Yellow Bush Bakery.
